It was not a wrong wish…
But it was not a very common wish…
It was not a lifetime dream…
It was not a previous minute dream…
It was a ‘behind the scenes’ dream for more than a few years…
I had always wanted one…
I was sure that it was not a bad investment…
And I desperately wanted one…
It was surely an expense…
But wanting it was not a mistake…
Not that I didn’t have anything of its kind…
But… It was something…
Very special…
It wouldn’t be attractive…
It wouldn’t strike the sight…
But it would always be special…
To me…
These thoughts had been dodging my concentration since I saw the display outside a Titan Showroom – “Flat 20% Off on Fastrack watches and sun glasses”.
I put a word to my parents about my expensive dream. As expected, their response was negative. But my conscience kept prompting that it would turn up fruitful.
Yesterday night, things were just going on in the usual pace. My parents were deeply involved in a discussion about time management. My mom put forth a statement saying that my dad wasn’t very time conscious. I interfered their conversation and said “Mom, I will be more time conscious from now on. Get me that Fastrack watch”.
In the next 20 minutes my dream came true… out of the blue…
